About www.JennCampbell.com:

I have always enjoyed "Taking Pictures." Like many moms, the minute I had my first child I became obsessed with taking pictures. But, gosh darn it, they looked nothing like I had envisioned in my head. At first I thought, "I need a better camera, I'm going to get a DSLR." Well, that didn't do it. Turns out it takes a lot more than a pretty camera. I have learned a lot and I'm still learning. The next problem I encountered was, "What am I going to do with all of the photographs I have accumulated?" There are a lot of neat photo organizational ideas out there. I have created some innovative organizational techniques through lots of trial and error. What works for one person may not work for another. Often, it is a combination of different methods. So, jump in and join me on my journey to document my children's childhood!!!

Goal- Get our photographs organized and in albums!

The Joy you will feel once you have tackled your unorganized photos!

Last week I told you to forget about the piles of photographs you have accumulated over the years and just focus on today.  Hopefully, you have found some albums you would like to use from now forward.  The next step is to start filling these albums.  Not only is today Wednesday, but it is also September 1st. Go print all of your photographs from August.  By next Wednesday let’s aim to have all of these photographs printed and placed in albums.  Easy Peasy, right???

    First Day of School

    August 30th, 2010

Today is the First Day of School for my little ones.  We celebrated with a big pancake breakfast.  It is so exciting to pack the clean new backpacks and lunch boxes.  Here are some pictures I took this morning to commemorate the day.  One of these will be my picture of the day for our Project 365 – Project Life by Becky Higgins.  Here are my kids off to their first day of preschool…

    Checking out the new shoes!

Notice Baby C who does not want to be left out of the festivities.

What do you do to commemorate the First Day of School?

Gallery Wrap Canvas- Your questions answered

    August 29th, 2010

I did a post a couple weeks back about the Gallery Wrap Canvas I had printed of my son on the beach. Since that post I received a few questions I would like to address today.  I would also like to provide a closer view of the whole product plus another canvas I purchased from a different vendor.

The first canvas is a 16×20 Gallery Wrap (1.5″) LUXE canvas from Pixel 2 Canvas.

My canvas turned out perfect.  I love how the back is finished out, too.

The second canvas is an 11″ x 14″ Thin (3/4″) Gallery Wrap by Canvas On Demand.

This one I purchased with a great coupon code and my daughter was over the moon with it.

TIP: When having a Gallery Wrap canvas printed, you have to make sure there is enough open space around your image so that don’t lose anything important on the sides.  This was pretty tricky for me.  Just make sure to choose the correct photograph.  Have fun!

    Scrapbook Tool

    August 27th, 2010

I just have a quick post today. As you can see, my kids are keeping me SUPER busy.

If you scrapbook at all, you are going to want to check out this great tool.  I love my Scotch Pink Advanced Tape Glider & Tape.
I use it for all of my scrapbook projects.  It is so easy to use and the tape lasts forever.

I don’t scrapbook nearly as much as I used to , but I still keep a scrapbook for each of my kids.  This makes my scrapbooking go so much quicker.
