About www.JennCampbell.com:

I have always enjoyed "Taking Pictures." Like many moms, the minute I had my first child I became obsessed with taking pictures. But, gosh darn it, they looked nothing like I had envisioned in my head. At first I thought, "I need a better camera, I'm going to get a DSLR." Well, that didn't do it. Turns out it takes a lot more than a pretty camera. I have learned a lot and I'm still learning. The next problem I encountered was, "What am I going to do with all of the photographs I have accumulated?" There are a lot of neat photo organizational ideas out there. I have created some innovative organizational techniques through lots of trial and error. What works for one person may not work for another. Often, it is a combination of different methods. So, jump in and join me on my journey to document my children's childhood!!!

  • 365 Days of Crazy: Days 4 & 5

    January 6th, 2011

So yesterday was CRAZY, never made it to the computer…

Day 4: Speaking of Crazy, this cat is crazy.  Shaggy has to be near me or on me at all times.  I tried to get the kids down for a nap this afternoon so I was laying in bed with them.  Shaggy was walking around the house screaming her head off.  I finally went out and told her I was in Elizabeth’s room.  She followed and curled up on top of me.  She sleeps on top of me all night.  I sit at my desk and she is in my lap within seconds.  She is one crazy kitty.

Dan and the kids are enjoying ice cream on the couch after dinner this evening.  Bob did not finish his ice cream, he had to play Angry Birds!

365 Days Of Crazy Day 2/365

    January 3rd, 2011

Did you notice something?  I decided that 365 Days of Chaos was not quite accurate.  Really, it’s 365 Days of Crazy.  I feel out of my mind crazy some days.  The kids need my constant attention, we are trying to run a business here, and we have a million pets.  Yes, we are plain old Crazy.  So it’s going to be 365 Days of CRAZY.

Some people may think my kids only eat plain straight sugar 24-7.  This is because they love to play, they have a ton of energy, and are just “plain crazy.”  But, really and truly, I try to feed them healthy wholesome food (I Promise.)  Here is our morning ritual.  The morning smoothie complete with “muscle leaves.”  Elizabeth was not happy when she saw me put green stuff in her smoothie one day.  I told her it was “muscle leaves”, this seemed to solve the whole issue ???

    365 Days of Chaos – Day 1

    January 2nd, 2011

Happy New Years!  On this first day of 2011, we went to the circus.  So fitting, since I feel my life is often a 3 ring circus.  Unfortunately, this was only a 1 ring circus.  Not like the circus I remembered as a child.  Elizabeth loved it, Bob got bored, and Chris tolerated it.  Had lots of fun with cousin Zach, Aunt Alexis, and Uncle Mark, however.  We then went and watched the Gator football game and ate lots of pizza.  Great start to the New Year!
